We all know the struggle when you’re just a student and your weekly allowance doesn’t seem to fit your weekly budget because of some projects and school works that requires you to pay additional money and we don’t want to be a burden to our parents. Little did we know that aside from saving our loose change, there are also other things we can do to earn money, and yes that’s possible even if you’re just a student.

1. Upgrade your Garage sale game

This is very usual during summer, families tend to sell their stuff that they don’t use anymore and give their old stuff a loving home, however, no ones to set a garage sale in front of their house and wait for buyers, right? But that could be possible.

However, there is a better way to sell your used items- sell them online, did you know that there are a lot of pre-loved online shops sprouting on different social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram?

2. Have a part-time job

This is perfect when students are on their vacation. Start by applying part time in fast food chains, those are accepting working students as well which is perfect if you want to pursue studying and working at the same time. You can also do part-time works as a nanny or tutor, that is doable and some are earning good money out of it.

If your time doesn’t permit, you can also try looking for some online part-time jobs. Some are teaching part-time to foreign students who want to learn how to speak and understand English. You may also try to answer some surveys or do some captcha typing.

3. Start your own business

Starting your own business may be a tough job and the big question is “Where will I get my capital?” Well, there’s a lot of online suppliers that offer low capital when starting a business and if you’re too good at researching, there are some who don’t offer capital at all.

All you need to do is post your products on your Facebook account and wait for your buyers- fast, easy and you can work at your own pace.

If you have skills in writing, video editing, and graphics, you may want to take advantage of it and work freelance. There are a lot of platforms perfect for Freelances, just make an account, make an impressive resume, build your portfolio and earn from it.

You can also work as a Virtual Assistant wherein your clients are based abroad and you may earn dollars and pounds.

5. Start a Blog

If you think that blogging is a just a past-time or a passion, well, you can also earn good money from it. Though earning from blogging may take a while but as soon as you build a high traffic, you will not just earn based on your traffic but some companies may hire you and pay you by posting. Some bloggers are earning good money through sponsorships.
