According to the 2019 Henley Passport Index, Philippines improved its ranking in the world’s most powerful passports. Filipinos are allowed to enter 66 countries vise-free.
Among 199 countries, Philippines ranked 74th from having last year’s 75th most powerful passport.
With visa-free access to 190 travel destinations this year, Japan maintained its top rank.
Meanwhile, Singapore and South Korea hold second most powerful passport holders. They are allowed to visit visa free to 189 countries.
With visa-free access to 188 destinations, Germany placed 3rd most powerful passport holder.
The weakest passport holder is Afghanistan and Iraq with only 30 travel destinations that are visa-free.
