Are you a retired pensioner? Here’s a piece of good news for you! SSS Pensioner Loan is now available.
SSS provides advanced financial assistance to almost 1.5 retired pensioners in the Philippines. This newly improved program was under the Pension Loan Program (PLP). Retired pensioner can now borrow up to Php 200,000. They can loan up to 12 times their basic monthly pension with an additional Php 1,000 for the benefit.
Requirements for SSS Pensioner Loan Application:
-Must be 85 years old or below but should have finished the loan repayment term
-No outstanding loan balance
-No existing advance pension under SSS Calamity Package
-Borrower should have an active pension status
Payment Terms:
-Payable in 6 months, 12 months or 24 months
-10% Interest rate per annum
-No service charge but one-time insurance fee must be paid
If you’re planning to apply for a loan, make sure to get all the requirements needed. You must prepare it ahead of time to avoid any problem or delays because if you have all the requirements on hand before you apply, it will be processed right away.
In addition, once you have been approved, make sure to be a responsible payor. Make sure to pay your debt in time to avoid any additional fees or penalties. In that way, you will also create a good record in SSS and if the time comes that you needed to apply for a loan again, they will not hesitate to approve your loan because of your good record.
