How To Get Police Clearance Online

Are you applying for a job and you need a police clearance? No worries, The Philippine National Police (PNP) makes an easier way to get police clearance online

A police clearance or police certificate is an official document that is from PNP as a result of a background check by the police of a specific country to check if or mention if there are any criminal records that an applicant may have.

Police Clearance Validity
-It is valid for six months from the date it was given.

-Two valid IDs
-If in case you don’t have two valid IDs, you can provide one valid ID and PSA issued Birth Certificate

Steps For Police Clearance Online Application

First Step: Register for an Online Account

Visit the NCPS website: https://pnpclearance.ph/
Click for “Register” button
Read the Terms and Conditions and check all the checkboxes and click next to continue
Fill up the registration form and register
Once done, you will receive an email for verification of your online NCPS account
Click the verification link that was sent and you will be redirected to the log-in page of the NPCS website

Second Step: Set An Online Appointment

Sign in to your account
Before setting an appointment, edit your profile and fill up all the necessary details
Once you’re done, click the “Save Profile” button
Click the “Clearance Application” button
Choose a police clearance station where you prefer to get your clearance
Choose a schedule and preferred time then click “Next”
Click the Land Bank of the Philippines button and then Save Appointment
Take note of the reference number that will be issued by the system

Third Step: Pay For The Fee

Once done click “Pay to LANDBANK” button, you will be redirected to the LBP ePayment Portal
You can pay for the fee using GCash, Landbank or BancNet
*Php 160 (Police clearance is PHP 150 plus PHP 10 transaction fee)
Once you’re done paying, payment summary will be displayed

Fourth Step: Claim Your Police Clearance

Go to your selected police station
Present two valid IDs, reference number and official receipt of your payment
Once done submitting requirements, you will undergo biometrics capture. (Photo, fingerprints and signature)
It will be processed right away, and wait for your name to be called for the releasing of your police clearance
*If you got a hit, you will have to undergo another verification process. Once completely verified, your police clearance will be released
