Do Not Overload Your Refrigerator

Refrigerator consumes a lot of electricity especially when you don’t know how to take care and use this the right way.

If you own a refrigerator it is a must to know that overloading your refrigerator will consume a lot of electricity but when you do not put a right amount of things in your ref it will also consume a lot of electricity, so it is important to make it full but not overloaded and not less

One more important thing that you need to know is when you open your ref frequently, it will also consume a lot of electricity.

Switch to Induction Cooking

Induction cooking promotes a safer and more efficient way of cooking. Even though it uses electricity to function but it prevents excessive heat because it doesn’t use fire to function and it doesn’t interfere with the coldness that the aircon and refrigerator units provide, which means those units don’t need to work harder just to eliminate the heat.

Use Compact fluorescent lamp instead of Incandescent Lamps

Compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) last eight times longer and use 75% less energy than their cheaper counterparts. In fact, a 16-watt CFL produces the same light as a  60-watt incandescent bulb at the fraction of the cost. Even though the CFL cost higher compared to Incandescent lamps, but when it comes to long-term benefits, you will save more if you use CFL.

All of these are just tips that might help you, but the best thing to do to be able to save electricity is to have discipline in using your appliances.
