Poverty is one of the reasons why many Filpino weren’t able to finish their studies. Good thing, we have the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
This year 2020, CHED Scholarship will be available to all deserving students. It can be a full or half scholarship, so if you wanted to apply for a scholarship here are the things you must know and do.
Here are the Qualifications for CHED Scholarship:
- Must be a Filipino Citizen
- General Average (GWA) 85%
- Annual Gross Income of parents or guardian must not exceed Php 400,000; if it will exceed the applicant must provide certification of medical findings of an ill family member or certification of two or more dependents enrolled in college
- Applicant must belong to Indigenous People under RA 8371
Here are the requirements:
- Birth Certificate (Original copy)
- High School Report Card (Freshmen Students)
- Certified True Copy of Grades (Grade 11 and Grade 12)
- Latest Income Tax Return of Parents or Guardian
- Certificate of Tax Exemption from BIR
- Certificate of Indigence from Barangay or DSWD
- Case Study Report from DSWD

-via a walk-in application or;
-you can send you the application form or;
-you can send your application via courier - All the submission should be addressed to CHEDROs based on point of origin
