Social Security System (SSS) and Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Calamity Loan Package will be launched due to Corona Virus that is spreading all over the Philippines.
SSS and GSIS Calamity Loan package will be available to all SSS members. This is very timely since everyone needed money to buy and store food to prepare for the quarantine and lockdown.
Good thing is that GSIS will also launch its Calamity Loan or Emergency loan.
Every SSS or GSIS member will be entitled to apply for a loan, where they can get as much as Php 20,000 depending on their monthly contribution.
As per GSIS Executive Vice President Nora Malubay, they are already finalizing the system where the members can apply nationwide.
Vice President Malubay also stated that the pensioner will receive their pension earlier than expected, and it will be on or before April 08.
For SSS loan applicants, SSS has a dropbox where applicants can leave all their application or they can also apply online and it will be so much easier and safer.
For GSIS applicants, GSIS kiosk will be open to process loans. However, they will undergo sanitary requirements first before they can use the kiosk for everyone’s safety.
All the applicants are advised to wait for further announcements regarding the calamity loan application.
