Guide on How to Claim Your TESDA Certificate

Having a TESDA National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (COC) is a privilege, it just means you have undergone all the training that will enhance your skills and knowledge. If you have already finished the TESDA assessment, but haven’t got your certificate yet, know how to claim your TESDA certificate.

Steps on How to Claim Your TESDA Certificate:

Step 1. Prepare the Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS) that was given to you after your TESDA assessment

Step 2. Make sure to ready your payments for the certificate before you go to claim your it

Step 3. Visit the nearest TESDA Office on your location

Step 4. Present your CARS to the TESDA staff. Do not forget to mention that you’re going to get a certificate

Step 5. The staff will then check and verify the documents you submitted and also your records

Step 6. Once verified, they will give you a form. Fill up the form and make sure to double check to avoid mistakes

Step 7. Once done, proceed to the cashier and pay for the fee

Step 8. Get the receipt and request form from the cashier and give it back to the staff who verified your documents

Step 9. Once submitted, your CARS will be marked as paid and it will serve as your claiming stub, so make sure to keep it.

Step 10. If your certificate is ready to be issued, present your CARS associated with your passport size ID picture

Step 11. Afterward, the staff will check the documents you submitted. Once verified, they will get your certificate

Step 12. Once they have it, they will attach the picture you submitted and it will be dry sealed

Step 13. Sign the certificate before they officially give it to you

Step 14. Lastly, sign in the logbook

Before leaving the TESDA office make sure to check all the details that were encoded. Make sure that everything is right to avoid any problem in case you need it in the future.
