PNPA Scholarship Program

The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) cadetship program is a scholarship program that is being offered by the government. This program offers 4-year schooling and preparation for the Bachelor of Science in Public Safety degree. All graduates who will pass the test will be appointed as Police Lieutenants of the Philippine National Police or as Inspectors of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and the Bureau of Fire Protection. PNPA Scholarship Program Guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Filipino Citizen
  • Must be 18 to 22 years old
  • At least Senior Highschool Graduate
  • Must have normal body max index
  • 5’2 for males and 5’0 for females
  • Physically and Mentally fit
  • Good moral character
  • No pending crime cases
  • Not a former cadet of PNPA or other service academies
  • Never been dismissed from a private or government position

Medical Disqualification Grounds:

  • Defective Visual Perception such as:
    • Color blind
    • Nearsighted/Farsighted
    • Nystagmus
  • Physical Deformities
  • Perforated eardrum
  • Chronic sinusitis
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Varicocele
  • Extensive skin disorders
  • Heart disease
  • Hypertension
  • Asthma
  • Pulmonary Tuberculosis
  • Kidney and Liver disease
  • Epileptic seizure disorder
  • Major operations
  • AIDs and Venereal Disease
  • Hepatitis
  • Full dentures
  • Cleft lip and palate
  • Malocclusion
  • Face deformities
  • Tounge-tied
  • Missing teeth (4 anterior or 6 prosterior
  • Ear piercing male and multiple piercing for female
  • Goiter
  • History of pregnancy
  • Breast mass
  • Painful menstruation

Other disqualification grounds:

  • Doesn’t meet the initial qualifications
  • Falsifying documents
  • Submitting fraudulent document
  • Incomplete entries

Exemption for PNPACAT:

If you are a senior highschool graduate with highest honors or you graduated in college as summa cum laude, magna cum laude, cum laude, you will be expemted from taking the PNPACAT. All you need to do is submit the application form associated with certification of honor from your school to reach PNPA Registrar’s Office

When and Where is the PNPA Cadet Admission Test?

PNPACAT is tentively scheduled on October or 1st week of November. It will be held in the 34 Testing Centers Nationwide. All choices will be provided upon your online application.

      • 100 Meter Dash (18 Sec)
      • 3 km Run (24 Mins)

      • Full Arms Hanging (45 Sec)
      • Push-ups (25 Reps)
      • Sit-ups (40 Reps)
      • 100 Meter Dash (20 Sec)
      • 3 km Run (27 Mins)
  • Phsychological and Psychiatric Examinaton (PPE)
  • Physical, Medical, Dental Examination (PMDE)
  • Panel Interview
