Civil Service Exam 2023

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) recently announced the Civil Service Exam – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) schedule for the year 2023. The CSE-PPT is one of the eligibility requirements when applying to a government agency. So If you want to work in a government agency, you should take and pass this exam. Qualifications:

  • Filipino Citizen
  • 18 years of age
  • Good moral character
  • Not convicted by final judgment of crime or offense
  • Not been dishonorably discharged from military service or positions in government
  • Must have not taken the same level of Career Service Examination within the last 3 months before the date of examination

Requirements:

  • Application Form (Download Here: CS Form)
  • Valid ID
  • Passport size ID picture (4 pcs), must include the following details:
    • Taken within the last 3 months
    • Passport size
    • Colored
    • White background
    • Standard close-up shot with neutral facial expression
    • Name tag positioned 1 inch or 2.54 cm. below the chin, must be handwritten showing signature over printed full name
    • No eyeglasses, contact lenses, or face accessories
    • Must show both ears
  • NSO Birth Certificate
  • Examination fee amounting to Php 500

Examination Details:

The Professional Level will have 170 items and will be taken for 3 hours and 10 minutes while Sub-Professional will have 165 items and will be taken for 2 hours and 40 minutes. The examinee shall obtain an 80% general rating to pass the Civil Service exam. The results of the exam will be released within 60 days after the examination.
