To those students who want to pursue their studies but don’t have the money to do so, here’s some good news for you. Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) recently announced that they will be offering scholarships to graduating Grade 12 students for this year 2023. The Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) will provide scholarships to active OWWA members, who wanted to pursue 4 to 5 years of baccalaureate courses in any college or university. Who can apply?
- Single
- Not more than 21 years old
- Grade 12 student (Graduating)
- With 80% GWA
- Child of an active OWWA member
- Sibling of a single or married but childless active OWWA member
- Form 137, Form 138, or Transcript of Records
Documents Requirement:
- 2×2 ID Picture
- OFW Passport ID
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Form 137/138 or Transcript of Records
- CENOMAR
- OFW Declaration of No Child Dependent
Benefits:
Qualified applicants will receive Php 60,000 per school year till they complete a 4-5 year baccalaureate course at any college/university in the Philippines.
