Steps To Change Membership Status To Voluntary Or OFW:

  • Access or login to your account. You can use this link: https://portal.sss.gov.ph/member/
  • Once you are logged in already and about to generate a PRN, choose “Voluntary” or “OFW” as your membership type
  • After PRN has been generated, you can go pay it already
  • After paying, your membership status will automatically change

FOR SELF-EMPLOYED
If you are self-employed and you’re going to pay for it, you need to fill out a form which is the Member Data Change Request.

You can use this link to get and print out the form: https://www.sss.gov.ph/sss/DownloadContent?fileName=SSSForms_Change_Request.pdf

The circle in the photo is a significant part if you are updating your membership type to Self-Employed.

Put a check to “Self-Employed” and then put your business or profession, the year when it started, and the number of your monthly earnings.

Afterward, submit it to the nearest SSS branch.

NON-WORKING SPOUSE
If you wanted to pay as a non-working, the procedure updating the membership type will be the same with the procedure of a self-employed member.

The circle in the photo is a significant part if you are updating your membership type to Non-Working Spouse.

Put a check to “Non-Working Spouse” and then put the SSS No. or CRN of the working spouse, amount of the monthly earning and the signature over printe name of the spouse who is an SSS member.
