PNPA Cadetship Admission 2023

The PNPA Cadetship program is one of the scholarships that was being offered by the Philippine government. This program is a 4-year schooling and preparation program to achieve the Bachelor of Science in Public Safety degree. Graduates will be appointed as  Police Lieutenants of the Philippine National Police, Inspectors of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and the Bureau of Fire Protection. However, they must pass the PNPA Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT) first. If you want to be part of PNPA, here’s how to apply for PNPA Cadetship Admission 2023.

PNPA Cadetship Admission 2023 Guidelines

Qualifications of PNPA Cadet:

  • Filipino Citizen
  • 18-22 years old
  • Single (No parental obligation)
  • Senior Highschool Graduate
  • Normal Body Mass Index
  • Height must be:
    • 5’2” (158.4 cm) Male
    • 5’0 (152.4 cm) Female
  • Physically and Mentally Fit
  • Good Moral Character
  • No pending case (Moral turpitude or crimes against the state)
  • Not a former cadet
  • Never been dismissed from any government or private position

Application Schedule:

The PNPA Online application is now OPEN for interested applicants and will end on July 30, 2023.

When and Where is the PNPACAT?

The PNPACAT will be on August 2023. The PNPA will make an official announcement soon. There will be 34 testing centers nationwide. The choices will be provided on your online application 60 days before the exam.

Grounds for Disqualification:

Online application:

  • Fails to meet the qualifications
  • False or incorrect entries
  • Uploading fraudulent document
  • Incomplete entries

Medical:

  • Defective Visual Perception includes:
    • Color Blindness
    • Nearsighted/Farsighted with corrective glasses
    • Nystagmus
  • Physical Deformities include:
    • Bowlegged
    • Congenital Defects
  • History of the following:
    • Heart disease
    • Hypertension
    • Asthma
    • Active PTB
    • Kidney and Liver disease
    • Epileptic seizure
    • Major operations
    • Communicable disease (AIDS, Hepatitis, VD, etc.)
  • Perforated Eardrum, Chronic sinusitis, Hemorrhoids, Bleeding tendencies, Extensive skin disorder
  • Full dentures upper and lower, Cleft lip and palate, Tounge-tied, missing 4 front teeth or 6 molar teeth
  • Tattoos
  • Ear piercing for males, multiple ear piercing for females
  • History of pregnancy, goiter, presence of breast mass, painful menstruation
  • Any other defects that may hinder the Cadetship program

  • Physical Agility Test (PAT)
    • Male
      • Pull-ups (3 Reps)
      • Push-ups (25 Reps)
      • Sit-ups (40 Reps)
      • 100 Meter Dash (18 Sec)
      • 3 km Run (24 Mins)
    • Female
      • Full Arms Hanging (45 Sec)
      • Push-ups (25 Reps)
      • Sit-ups (40 Reps)
      • 100 Meter Dash (20 Sec)
      • 3 km Run (27 Mins)
  • Psychological and Psychiatric Examination (PPE)
  • Physical, Medical, and Dental Examination (PMDE)
  • Panel Interview
