CHED Merit Scholarship Program 2023-2024 is a scholarship program that was funded by the government. This program aims to support academically talented students who don’t have the capability to finance their education. Qualified students will be awarded a full or partial scholarship under the State Scholarship and Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA). CHED Merit Scholarship Program 2023-2024 Guidelines
Eligibility Requirements:
- Filipino Citizen
- High school graduate or graduating with GWA of at least 96% for full merit program while 93% – 95% for half merit program
- Applicants must belong to the following group:
- Underprivileged and homeless citizens under RA No.7279
- PWD under RA No. 7277
- Solo parents and their dependents under RA No. 8371
- Have not availed of any government-funded financial assistance program

Documentary Requirements:
- Birth Certificate
- Academic Requirements:
- High school report card
- A true copy of grades for Grade 11 and 1st semester of Grade 12 graduating high school students
- Income Requirements (whichever is applicable):
- Income Tax Return of parents or guardian
- Certificate of Tax Exemption from BIR
- Certificate of Indigence
- Case Study Report from DSWD
- The latest copy of the contract or proof of income for the children of OFWs or Seafarers
- Identification Card (ID)
- Underprivileged and homeless
